Poison Oak and Poison Ivy Photos

These photos will help you to identify and distinguish the differences between Poison Oak and Poison Ivy.

:? :? :?

The images of the Poison Ivy plant were taken in Kouts, in rural Northwest Indiana.

The images of the Poison Oak plant were taken in Napa, Northern California.

If you are unsure of what you are dealing with.... "Three leaves - leave it alone" :!: :!: :!:

If you brush against either of these plants wash the infected area as soon as possible with cold water and soap. Gently pat dry it and then my own homegrown remedy calls for a gentle wipe with rubbing alcohol and then I spray it with Bactine. Remove and wash all of the clothes you were wearing separately from your other clothes...

If you come into contact with either Poison Oak or Poison or Ivy DO NOT SCRATCH THE INFECTED AREA UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
