While spending last weekend with my fiance for her up-coming birthday at the Wilstem Horse Ranch in southern Indiana, we went out into the woods to hunt for wild morel mushrooms that pop up this time of the year. We found 40 or so and had them as a side dish with a couple of nice filet mignon (and a couple bottles of nice wine).
Next weekend is Vegas and the following I'm hoping to get back out on the water for a little bass fishing! Will try to post more then...
How about some wild Morel Mushrooms

Ack! We used to have morels every year back in old Hoosierville. Do you know those darn things cost $80 a lb. here in the Golden State?
We always got them from my grandfathers cow pasture.... apparently they are manure lovers!
