Timmy wrote:We got a ton of rain, was planning to go to the lake on Saturday and Sunday and hang out and drink beer but the rains that happened all Friday night caused some severe flooding in the area. Parts of the golf course looked like a river. I got some photo's and video that I'll try to send over to you at some point.
Hey Timmy,

No chance of your house being affected if it continues?
Let me know! I owe you one!

Bob's extract from the news:

"Eight people died from flooding in Michigan and Indiana. Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle sought emergency aid for 29 counties and President Bush late Sunday declared a major disaster in 29 Indiana counties. Iowa Gov. Chet Culver said nearly a third of his state's 99 counties need federal help."

"Flooding was expected to be a continuing problem this week as rivers are swollen with the runoff from as much as 11 inches of rain that fell Saturday in Indiana."

Our House is still dry, I don't expect that we'll get flooded but one never knows. We received over 11 inches of rain through the night on Friday, June 6th, 2008 which caused the massive amounts of flooding throughout the state.

I remember attempting to get through the floods of Dry Creek back in Napa to try to help you one night but there was no way up there - too much raging water.

I'll try to attach a few shots I took of the flood

It has been on the news here. Pics of 2 story houses falling into, then floating off on, flooded rivers  .

Hope they subside soon!
