Geelong Star Super Trawler for Western Australia

Post by Ross Compe » Mon Apr 06, 2015 4:10 am

The Geelong Star super trawler has been cleared by Fisheries Management and has left Albany Port to begin its annual harvest of 16500 tonnes of fish.
Marine authorities have declared that should any seal or dolphin be taken from our southern ocean severe penalties will be imposed. :P :P
Yes :!: It means 16500 tonnes equates to 16500 1 tonne pallets of fish per annum
Lets hope the impact on recreational anglers and local commercial fishermen isn't effected.
Have a nice day
